With any blockbuster hit comes the music behind the film. Here, the soundtrack is equally as appealing as the film. The original soundtrack for He's Just Not That Into You is a hit in itself, combining unusual music talents on one compilation.

The mix starts off with a killer hit, one of my favorites from the CD. I don't expect to hear any of these on the mainstream radio, but they're definitely the type you'll hear in movies like He's Just Not That Into You.

Corrine Bailey Rae's song "I'd Like To" blends soulful music with a melodic voice. The beat behind the lyrics are happy, reminding me of a song perfect for summer cruising.

"I'm Amazed," by My Morning Jacket, is a slower song, with the proper instrumentals, flows well. The repetitive chorus of "I'm Amazed," combined with particular qualities of the person makes it catchy. You can't help but sing along.

"I Must Be High," by Wilco is another catchy one, though on the slower side. It has a heavy beat behind it, but it's melodic. With the chorus of "I must be high/To say goodbye," it's sure to strike the heartstrings of many listeners.

James Morrison's "You Make It Real," is a slow, lovey-dovey song. It's slow, but lends a happy vibe, if you're into that love stuff.

The CD boasts nearly 20 songs, something virtually unheard off in today's music industry. Other familiar faces include R.E.M. and Maroon 5.

Though I must admit I bought the CD looking for anti-love renegade music, considering the title and theme of the movie of the same name, however, it's full of slow, sappy love songs, happy breakup songs and some familiar hits, as well.

Overall, the soundtrack for He's Just Not That Into You a good buy for those in love and looking for love, but not those bitter anti-lovers.
